Just finished reading The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger.

I suppose people are drawn to this book because many a times we look back and pray that time stops and we can savour beautiful moments in our lives once again.

Just like how I used to say that I hope I can always remain in time where I was still a happy and naive secondary skool girl.The time when kaiyuan was still coaching and onboard the girls' boat, the sun was setting, we were training up our stamina for long pull, we were tired but numb.It was a very happy moment.Pure and bitter-sweet.Most importantly of all.The people inside the boat.One heart one mind attuned to the rythym of the strokes.Or the time when all the dragon-boaters were inside a 24-men boat towards sdba.Defined what dragon boat was all about.Unity.A team.~Don't let yesterday's disappointment overshadow tomorrow's dream...Together we all will win the glory and honour in the name of TPJ dragons...May our boat fly without wings!
It is precisely moments like these which makes us vulnerable to this book.Often, we hear people say "What If...If Only...", but we can never do anything about it right? Shihua and Alice used to say that zao3 zhi1 dao4 shi4 shen2 jiang3 de3.It's quite true ain't it.But if we wield the power to alter the future, would we dare to?Would our conscience allow us to get away with it?Ying1 guo3 bao4 ying4.Complications would arise.The Butterfly effect.The Chain effect.A viscious cycle.
Anyway, it's a really really good book that stirrs your thoughts and leaves you tear-stricken.

On a sad note::
Saw britney spear's Everytime on MTV yesterday.Was really esctatic when I saw it.When I was singing along to it and watching the MTV I actually felt tears in my eyes,I was on the verge of crying.Best rite? I had to stop myself from tearing.*sigh*

Had my SRC camp and Odac camp earlier on but think I will not blog any of it cause there are just too many things, memorable things, irritating stuffs, fun n stupid things!But all I can say is that.I'm so SO glad I went for e camps n know so many fabulous and interesting and havoc pple!Thankz babes n hunks of SIM!Haahaa!

Went Zouk yesterday night for the pageant preview of Hall1 and Hall6.Both Peishan n Shanru were representatives of Hall6.F4 n F2 respectively.Doreen was also nominated but she turned it down.When I 1st heard this news I was so proud of them!Seriously, I felt so honoured.Haahaa.So,anyway, we paid $15 for the ticket to this preview.It started at 8 but ended less than 2 hrs later.We hanged around abit while waiting for MAMBO n e dance floor to get heated up.Was really good.Everybody was just very socialable and friendsly.We just sorta all danced together.All e SIM pple just mambo together, Seekee joined me cause her SMU friends were hopping to Chinablack, then Peishan n Shanru were with their hall mates but Doreen and Linda sorta MIA.Before I knew it,I was outside Zouk, looking for Doreen and Linda coz Doreen was drunk!JIE MEI!Hiyo, that girl ar, the moment she saw me and Seekee, she was like laughing like mad, non-stop.She kept sliding and niam-ing.Her norm reaction when she's fan2.Haahaa.Pple ard her kept asking her to Merlion coz it makes e person feel better.One guy even suggested inducing vomit by sticking e finger down e throat.In the end,doreen joined my league of MERLIONS.She cldn walk properly n me n Linda had to fu2 her to e toilet.But, she was much better aft tat.It was good that Linda was there with her and a few trustworthy guys caring for that dear girl.If not.Am worried bout Peishan.Just hope that she will be able to see things from those pple's perspective and justify their claims before she heads straight on.Girl,take care ok!
Anyway, I cant believe I was there from 8pm-3am!Haahaa.Ser!You must be proud of me ok, I only took a couple of sips of alcohol and nothing else!Ok, there was also ice cubes.But that's it.And we danced the whole night thru.There was Let's get loud, Superstar, MY It's my Life, Where is the Love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seekee's sis came to fetch her and she is very nice.She offered me a lift to Hougang so that my cab fare would be cheaper.In the end, they stopped in the middle of this road and I suppose it's her sister's hubby got down and hailed a cab for me.Very considerate!!! THANKZ!!! And the reason for stopping out of nowhere was cause that road led to Tampines!!! TOUCHED deeply!

i forgot!!!Friday I was supposed to b a floor-cleaner wif edison to ps rite? But i didn't go in e end coz I had bad cramps. Then, that night.Smart move sia. ps called me aka on e way home n we toked bout normal stuffs. I took it for real when she VERY casually asked whether I'm gonna sleep early n that where I was::sleepin late n at home la. Ard 11+ she called me to say that her parents n her are at my main gate; her parents want to thank me for the bbq day coz she n duo-ling da-bao-ed mee fen, fried rice n egg tart i tink. WAH piang! I got such a big shock lo.To think I was stenciling petals on my nails, I had to quickly peel dem off n took my keys n hp n literally cheong der plus I smelled of feng you.What a great combi! But, as I was approaching, I saw no car parked near the gate and I was thinking:: Her parents-11+PM??? When I finally reached, ps gave me a huge birthday greeting while shanru n edison were hiding behind trying to light up e birthday cake. There n den, They sang a birthday song for me n I made a wish before blowing out the candle.Haahaa!!! And they bot PINK DOLPHIN for me!!! haahaa.Coz both ps n edison liked it. We went to sit down at the bbq pit bench n tok n eat e cake while feeding the mosquitoes!!! haahaa. ps n shanru were using tissue to clean off all e whip cream. haahaa!U guys shld see e mess we created out of eating e cake.It was e 1st n mayb last cake I ate on my birthday this yr. *gan dong*touched*
 
It was the 1st time my friends ever SURPRISED me at my hse. Ambushed.haahaa! i'll never forget!!! THANK U PS N EDISON N SHANRU!!!Dey were really tired aft e big clean-up but dey still came n dey stayed not-tat-near:: Hougang n yishun! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!MUAKZ!!!

Got woken up by daniel vai's phone call-wishes this mornin.Haahaa.Funny fellow.Said he didn't want to disturb me but within minutes aft we hanged up n i hit my pillow, he sent an sms."-_-"  Jumped out of bed 10mins aft tat.
 
1st birthday present I received was Han's::My havainas lime green sandals? He paid for dem!THANK YOU!!! 2nd 1 was my sister's present::hEYHEY!!! a Fila denim small sling pouch! Yeah!!! I can strike off e denim espirit bag off my grocery list! THANK YOU JIEJIE!!! She still bothered to wrap it up in this PINK piggy wrapper which really made me so touched but aft zipping open e bag i realised she conveniently threw n squashed e fila plastic bag in der.haahaa.3rd wan::HuiJun got me this notebook frm PRINTS. The cover reminds me immediately of huijun, esp the colors.Haahaa.Smart girl! i will always b reminded of u girl!The cover is so her,but I still like it vVVv much!i always buy things that I like for pple.haahaa!
 
Met Han at tamp den we went down to BUGIS!!! Took a long time n a few wrong turns b4 we decided on SWENSONS!!! Haahaa, I didn't know it was like a mini maze inside Swensons. We were seated right inside, at the corner where everybody outside can see us. I ordered U.S. fries n dips n a frosted chocolate malt n han Beaded chicken n sticky chewy chocolate  wipe that drool off ur face ar den i saw this ting bout gettin a free sundae if its ur birthday! Greedy n bu4 na2 bai2 bu4 na2 since it's free we ordered it after e person verified my birthday! SINFUL day!!! haahaa! So much ice-cream!
 
Went shopping aft tat!!! i bought myself e philosophy bag at last!!! n also:: insect repellant, plastic box, Cleo mag, an Octupus  massager for gift exchange for camp!  it's so cute!!!i wanna gop for myself lo!  Actually not much but I'm still really happie!!! Still can't decide whether to get the Muji jacket and Barcode mary janes btw my Converse shoes are causing me the same problems as my old adidas wans, cutting my skin.*sigh*  If only sum pple can SPON me ar *hint*hint* like my papa! haahaa! I'm a real spoiled n over-pampered by my dad daughter! Left Bugis but was still early in meeting jun so went to sit ard at the stone benches opp. e softball field.Was listening to OU DE YANG Ocean!!! BAGUS!!! Really! But I ended up reading han's FHM while listenin coz he took my Cleo. I still prefer CLEO!!!
 
Met jun at MPH den coz we were still v full frm lunch, we decided to go check out haagen dazs. We ate ice-cream again!!! haahaa! Ice-cream overload sia!!! For dinner! haahaa! We tried lychee, banana-toffee, midnight cookies n cream n strawberry cheesecake. All HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! YUMMY sia!!! Then we sat der n tok! Catch up! It was a real good feeling. Then we went to the outdoor theatre n saw that der was a live-band performance:: e observatory i tink.Quite swakoo coz i never heard of dem. But, they r good, so soothing. There were a lot of pple sia! We walked towards e *Merlion* den as we were walking, I saw this building reflecting fireworks-kind of lights but we cldn find e source in front of it. We r realli 2 blur heads, e NDP rehearsal was right behind us, so were e fireworks n we didn @@. We caught e last few seconds of e fireworks only before it was all smoke. We discovered this happening riverside eatery, satay la wadever that we never see before! We r going to try next time.Walked n walked n walked n ended up at one fullerton. Jun was craving for char kway teow den i rem when pa drove jie to tis area, i saw a hawker centre, so we attempted to find it. Just as we were getting closer Jun mentioned lau pa sat n der i was saying tat i've NEVER been der b4 etc etc when I pointed out to Jun e place I was directing her to n she replied: That's lau pa sat.I'm such a SWAKOO! haahaa! But tonight, on this special night I stepped foot into lau pa sat!!! yeah!!!
 
Aft tat, we jus went home. Yap yap.I can't possibly re-produce all that has happened tdy. All that above is just a tiny part n it's so lo so already. But I must say, every single min n sec of tdy is SPECIAL to me. All in me.Today is a colorful day! haahaa! HAPPIe-NESS!!!

Bought a ring for $2.90 which I saw priced at $7.90 at a citylink push-cart.I saved a further $1 when i realised another exact same ring priced at $3.90 in the same shop same basket.WOR!$5!!!Luckily I sustained myself.See,it's always,almost,good to look ard 1st n not make hasty n impulsive purchases!*wan1sui4*

MARVELOUS!SUPERB!'ve been deprived of bk for super-long.'ve been deprived of airport for super-long too.Everywhere is blocked up by airport upgrades;bk is now beside e mrt escalator opp. starbucks.Great BLUE sofas tat r Vvv COMFY!*Melts into it* We saw 2 vVV interestin incidents::

Incident #1:
Ser noticed an ah ma tokin to an invisible sum1 at 1 direction den another den she suddenly stood up.All the while, she was still niam-ming.She collected all her stuffs n walked out of bk.But she didn't give up.She chanted louder n louder as she walked away as if she was directing her talk to every single person in bk.Tink she was speakin in dialect n all i cld hear was teochew lang n hokkien lang n c***b**.Finally she walked away.

Incident #2:
This v woodie n stone-looking guy was wheeling this crazy girl ard via e airport trolley.In full view of every single person in bk n starbucks "like nobody's business".Tink that's worst?Tink again.The girl's hands were held in front of her as if she was steering the wheel n if I'm not wrong,in whichever direction her hands turn,the guy has to follow suit.We came to a conclusion::OH MY GUD!!!Even her friends in bk n this vVv loud pony-tailed guy were laughly out loud.The only place where she can mention this n feel proud? Craziest moments with my bf.

Neway, by the time we left it was ard 1am.So we took a cab and Ser reminded me 'bout Merlion incident re-enactment.haahaa!But, I didn't!I SURVIVED!Muahaha!!!Bk right where it belonged...my tummy!

A girl and guy were speeding over 100 mph on the road riding a motorcycle...

In the paper the next day: A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of brake failure. 2 ppl were on it but only 1
survived.The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his brakes broke, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him & felt her hug 1 last time, then had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die.

Just came back from SWIMMING::it's been aeons
But,STUPID!Mr Sun came out only now!*fate*

Met nu-er at Bugis for OUR HAIR MAKEOVER!She brought me to Salon-i at Rochor Centre.Rochor Centre::Seems like a forgotten building of a buzzling arena.HOWEVER, as we approached Salon-i,SURPRISELY,it really stood out due to the Bright interior deco and it has a clean feel to it in stark contrast to the entire buildings'brown-washed walls n corridors.Louis was the hairdresser PS recommended.Louis::FU2 QI4:due to his round tummy, he dons a pair of green rect. plastic framed glasses, short dyed-permed-curly-hair:1st time I actually thought that the hair suits a guy of his magnitude.But, aftall, he;s a hairstylist, he should know what-not and what-to-do to his hair!

He commented that[Monsoon Alan if u r Hearing this::]my hair has no shape nor style n is vVVv THICK!n COINCIDENTALLY, e giirl sitting diagonally opposite me owns a DALKI bag[Dalki::is e strawberry-cartoon-character whom i shared a resemblance to aft snipping my locks at Monsoon]Even Louis laughed.*Sigh*
BUt, LOUIS saved e day!He thinned my hair,decided on brighter base color and highlights to bring out my darker-tone face[no wonder pple speak to me in Malay],styled my hair and offered to temp. straighten my hair by using e *KIAP*.He suggested straightening and styling as a 2-day mei-mei effort.Unfortunately, I cldn't tahan n barely 6-hrs ltr when I reached home,all went down e drain n into a brown floppy mess.
Mine is a lot brighter den PS's but I really like PS's subtle-ness!Overall, her base color and highlights r obvious but subtle::reminds me of mahogany but the star of it is actually this hidden cuo1 of bleached-blonde hair hidden underneath her fringe,sama lela's patch-of-red-hair.DEFINITELY NOT ah-lian!Cause the blonde part is covered by her now-shorter fringe and only the ends peek thru.Stupid girl says that she now looks more kiddish with the short fringe but i say::NO!E shorter fringe brings out her vVv pretty eyes by shortening the hair-curtain, shows more of face and instead i tink she looks more MATURE!

We walked around e whole Bugis and i spotted 2 bags which i liked::Colorful stripes[Afraid that it's just a fast-fleeting fad]and Silky Chinese-authentic-cheong-sam-prints[Shape was just too WEIRD]So...didn't la.
Wanted to drink bubble tea but there weren't any pearls.*dOt*So, went Rocky's instead.Try the MANGO TANGO,highly recommended by e sporting n enthu guy hu promises a not-nice-full-refund.Yap!

E song that keeps SPINNING in my head::Britney Spears:Everytime--->Izzit an indication?I'm missing a particular someone of SIGNIFICANT importance in my life?Perhaps.But, I'm adamant at this point in my life, I'm totally clueless 'bout his identity.

I generously removed the $40+ mani/pedicure and replaced it with a low-cost production of mine::Tools of e Trade::Petal stencils, Red glittery varnish and Clear Protective Coat.Instructions:Stenciled red glittery petals on my 1st,2nd,4th fingernails and 1st,3rd toenails before finishing with two voluminous coats of clear varnish!*ta-da!*clap*clap*clap*I'm seriously quite proud of them,over my nails::that's a FIRST time for a D-I-Y project.But, Beauty Lies in e Eyes of e Beholder, SO, to many of u...it probably SUCKS.
