This shouldn't be happening right? Not when we are only down to 6? Actually, the phenomenom described earlier only occurs when this fellow stands on stage. I will give him a 100/100 for his facial expressions but 0 for his singing. Seriously, his singing is monotonous, no ups and no downs, none of that from his face is conveyed to his singing. He is cute, I suppose, decently cute enough to blind all the young girls out there who addictively vote for him every week. Shouldn we be keeping and rooting for people who have the makings of an idol? By that, I mean a person who has relatively strong vocals that have the potentials to be further developed. Even though I was so tempted to say that " He is now UP for GRABS! " BUT, HE IS STILL MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE!!!!!hehe... I thorougly enjoyed his speech although I was desperately trying to suppress my laughter and huge grin right from the start. I was practically squirming in my seat and cupping my hands over my mouth!His speech was interestingly funny and full of explosive comedic bits. I have never really explored and seen this side of him. The trying to conceal his nervous-ness by pacing to and fro during the introduction of his speech, the dramatics, overall, I could say that he worked the crowd very well and one could see that he was very in control. The evaluator was full of praises for him and he kept his humour throughout the entire session, on-stage and off. Actually, all 3 of them were very good. Fawwaz was very funny too and I felt that he could be a very good story- teller 'cos he was very descriptive and into what he was saying. As for Zhen zhi, he was a very calm and composed speaker whose speech was trickling with funny bits and I noticed that my mouth did not had time to rest and I was smiling again. Today being the opening ceremony and the benchmark has been set so high. I really worry the day I deliever my speech. I am really worried I am unable to match the HIGH standards set! ARGH!!!! I cant believe I actually paid a ten bucks deposit for Toastmasters club. I cant believe I will be delievering speeches, trying to complete the levels and achieving the statuses. This is the first time that I am joining something and I actually feel so at home and everyone is like so willing to mingle, spontaneous. It is really beginning to feel like a family...I hope it proves to be something of a good thing!
